Q: Tell me a little bit about yourself
I am originally from Sydney Australia, I lived there till I was 17 then decided to move to Byron Bay / Ballina NSW. As much as I adore and love the city lifestyle, I also love the chilled, laidback beach lifestyle that Byron brings too. My star sign is a Sagittarius ! I love a bit of fire and passion in my life, I feel like being a saggy suits me well, I love the feeling of freedom and hate ever being constrained, I also love change and travel. It is my goal for the future to be able to travel more with my photography work, especially being able to go to new places and meeting new people excites me the most. I went to University at Whitehouse Institute of Design and graduated with a Bachelor of Design specialising in Styling and Creative Direction.
Q: What made you realise you wanted to pursue a career in photography?
I always loved the fashion world and wanted to find my place in it, however what I did know, is that I hated sewing so I knew design wasn’t for me - fashion photography on the other hand, seemed to me like an amazing option, as you are still working with the fashion, just not creating it. Photography challenges me as it pushes me everyday to learn more that allows me to grow throughout my career. I've always wanted to have the freedom to travel with my job, as well as having being in control of my own hours and where I get to travel is what really stands out for me. Photography has also enabled me to have a great variety in my job - working and meeting new people and going to new places all the time. It’s a hustle but 100% worth the reward.
Q: What is your biggest goal/aspiration?
To work with high-end brands and to be always sought after as a fashion photographer, getting paid well for my work and travelling to exotic locations. Being flown across the world for a big shoot with a team of well known creatives would be insane . I definitely aspire to be able to create a name for myself in the industry.
Q: How would you describe your style/aesthetic with shooting?
My style has evolved over the years and will continue too. At the moment I feel like I would say my style is high end, luxe and strong. I love showing the strong side of a women through my images. I’m really into harsh sunlight at the moment.
Q: If you had the opportunity to shoot with someone who would it be and why?
Bella Hadid I would say currently because she is such an icon in the fashion world right now - to shoot her would represent hitting a very high point in the industry and my career. Shooting icons like that would be a dream come true.
Q: Favourite quote and why?
Nothing worth having in life is easy.
You have to work hard to get where you want to be and things take time. You have to be persistent and patient. Things that come too fast and quickly always have consequences to them.

]]>I met Ebony in Port Douglas and we instantly clicked. And soon enough we both realised we were both crazy Aries, it was no surprise why we got along so well! (Aries reuntieeee). Throughout conversation Ebony mentioned she did not have Instagram for the exact same reasons that I had. I was honestly gobsmacked, to have the thought a week prior to not knowing any girl whom deleted their Instagram, to then meeting someone who shared the same beliefs was so crazy to me (the universe works in mysterious ways ... 😉).
We bonded over talking about business, entrepreneurship, nature, spirituality, wanting the best for everyone, dissociating with the virtual world of social media, to connect back to nature and to be our true selves in this world. What blew me the f away was this girl was 17. SEVEN-TEEN.
Elevar. Tropical Photoshoot, Port Douglas
I’ve had many moments when I’ve been in immense shock by finding out people’s ages (as they act much more mature and wiser than most people their age), but this was a shock that could have had left me for dead, especially that I have gained so much insight, knowledge and wisdom from someone at such a young age. Ebony inspires me in so many ways, and I cannot wait to see her flourish in life and watch her grow.
Ebony and I share the same goal - “We don’t want to work for anyone else, but ourselves”. What I love to see most is watching other people succeed in their goals and dreams. What I hate seeing most is watching people have self-doubt in themselves to never follow their dreams. To come across someone so eager, so passionate and so determined to make her dreams come true, I knew it was my purpose to help in anyway possible. I had decided to take her under my wing and teach her what I have learnt over the last two years of doing business. She is currently going through the same processes I did when starting my own business that includes the first stepping stone I endured with the Foundr Start & Scale Your Own Online Business Course! I cannot wait to see her shine, learn and grow overtime.
To get to know Ebony a little bit more, take a look at the questionnaire that took place below.
━
Tell me a little bit about yourself
My name is Ebony, and I’m an Australian girl who grew up in Far North QLD. I have always been connected to nature and felt the power of mother earth as I live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. I am a music librarian whom collects, listens and appreciates almost all kinds of music (except heavy metal lol). I am 17 and just beginning my life, I have no idea where the wind will take me but I want to make sure whatever I find myself doing, I will help people, places, communities as much as I can. That is my life's purpose.
What Star Sign are you? What is the number one quality that you feel like you possess the most?
I am an Aries, with a moon of Aqaurius and a sun of Aries. So I'm a double fire baby ! The qualities I possess that underlines Aries qualities is a fiery character and a stubbornness habit that means that I don't listen to anyone else's opinions upon my life choices that I don't agree with. If I want to do something, I’m going to do it.
What is your wildest dream?
My wildest dream would be to travel the world volunteering in habitat conservation and animal preservation programs to ensure this beautiful world we live upon stays beautiful for my children and for generations to follow. To also promote awareness to world wide issues and to donate significant amounts of payments to aid programs, to ensure their work is funded, appreciated and continues on. To also be able to meet all different kinds of culture, to be welcomed and speak their language.
Favourite quote and why?
“Don’t be a woman that needs a man, be a woman a man needs” is my favorite quote as I truly believe that you must find a way to love yourself before you can allow anyone else to as well. And when you focus on self healing and care, you will be ready to share and give more than you ever could have before, because you know your entire self and that person will come into your life and be able to love the entirety of you.
What is a life changing moment that you experienced that changed your life for the best?
My life changing moment is what I like to call the butterfly effect, in theory it is the moment you witness a girl transform into a woman. It may take months, maybe only a week, but mine took a few hours. I was over in Germany on a family trip for a wedding when we went to a concert one night. My uncle played as a guitarist in his band and knew I could sing! I was only 13 at the time and was quite shy and uncertain, but when he called my name on the mic, something irrational bloomed within me and I did something I never had done before. I let myself be seen. Truly vulnerable and up on stage. Yet by the end of my back up singing performance I had the crowd cheering my name! And that's when I went from being born a caterpillar to being reborn as a butterfly.

I am Incredibly grateful I have been able to cross paths on this magical journey that we call life with this beautiful angel. Thank-you for inspiring me in more ways than one Ebony! You're truly one of a kind x
]]>Because seriously.
BASICS. DON’T. GO. OUT. OF. FASHION. Full-stop!
Even the world's most known well celebrities with all the money in the world are
still wearing basics to this day.
Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Em Rata, Selena Gomez, Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Zendaya & Bella Hadid = Basic Queens?!
And the crazy part is, I didn’t even think about this, nor did it ever cross my mind until a close friend of mine made this comment to me. I had to think for a moment in that instance until I responded “shit yeh ya not wrong” - deadset (my inner bogan loves to make sneaky appearances here and there).
"With good accessories, you will have endless options with a basic outfit"
I kept thinking about this comment, because quite frankly, it was so true? I honestly still have basics from good ol’ Supre & Cotton On from YEARZ back, which I still wear to this day! And you know what makes them look so different each time I wear them … accessorising.
Y’all can seriously make an outfit go ka-powwwww (my way of saying on point) by the use of fashion accessories. Why invest in clothing that will go out of fashion sooner or later, or clothing that you will wear once and refuse to be seen in it again, when you can just simply invest in some fashion accessories to change up the style for any of your basic outfits.
Lemme get you started with a little list below how you can style your outfit with fashion accessories:
Fashion accessories is key.
The best part about the list above is that not only do you get to up-style your basic outfits, but you can utilise these accessories for any other outfits too!
Notice with fashion accessories they create more value than investing into clothing that will simply go out of trend next season? And the best part is, you can get down and creative with styling with fashion accessories. You have the choice whether you really want to spice up an outfit with multiple fashion accessories, or to keep it quite simple with more minimal pieces - your style, your rulez.
So, next time you find an old, basic piece of clothing in your wardrobe, remember that it never went out of style, and that basic can be turned into a masterpiece, just simply accessorise and say no more!
Are you a lover of fashion accessories? And love to be in charge of your own style? Then oh boy do we have the perfect products for you …

I knew by taking a gap year, it was going to require quite some $$$, whilst already studying full-time at University (studying Bachelor of Commerce) I was working 3-4 jobs and approx working 45-60 hour weeks to save. I was c-r-a-z-y. And somehow, this girl still managed to have a social life (would love to ask past me “HOW!?”).
I always say when you have no time, you have time, and when you have time, you have no time - I was lazy with my time when I did have spare time, and when I had no time, I was incredible with my time-management. So weird how I work haha
My travel dreams were only just around the corner now (yehaww), and then … Covid-19 decided to make a sneaky appearance (f u, but also, thank-u - will get to the ‘thank-u’ part in a moment xx). I lost all my jobs (Barista at a cafe, catering at events, waitressing at functions and working in a customer service role at a movie cinema) and all my travel plans were also canceled.
I won’t ever forget that feeling, because quite frankly, I never expected it, ever. I honestly felt so lost, and I didn’t know what to do. However, from what I could gather, it seemed like I was finally going to have a lot of spare time for once.
I finally had time to breathe, and to focus on things that I wanted to do. I knew because I wasn’t able to travel, it looked like I needed to find a full-time job when things did get better. I decided to further educate and up-skill myself wherever possible so it would make finding a job easier for myself when the time came around to it.
I began to follow accounts on Instagram that were dedicated to entrepreneurship.
I still remember when I first heard the term 'Entrepreneur' back in Year 10 Commerce; that made me realise that is what I will be one day.
And I managed to come across Foundr Magazine. They were running a course called ‘How to Start & Scale Your Own Online Business’ that was run by famous-entrepreneur, Gretta Van Riel. Gretta has successfully started four multi-million dollar businesses by age 28 (goalz.) She has been a great inspiration for myself, as I have been following her journey ever since Skinny Me Tea. I knew I wanted to become an entrepreneur myself, and have always dreamed about running my own business, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity and time to do so.
Over the next six months, I was devoting countless hours into the course, and the best part was … I was having fun doing so! I was extremely eager to learn as this was something I was passionate about. I feel like I was finally putting my creative side to some good use, as this is something I feel like I couldn’t ever let shine in both the School/University system.
"Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you" - Oprah Winfrey
I was stunned and amazed with how much I was learning (I honestly believe I learnt more in this course than what University ever taught me). I knew I was in the right place when I was learning the blueprint from someone who had started 4 multimillion dollar businesses.
I always say... "You should be learning from those who you aspire to be like. Seek out positive people who have achieved the success you want to create in your own life." And "Never ask advice of someone with whom you wouldn't want to trade places."
By the time I finished the course, I launched my business, and I was now selling a product. It was a magical feeling I will never forget. As much fun as I had doing the course, it most definitely provided me with countless challenges that I am grateful for going through, as I learnt so much along the way and experienced a ton of personal growth also.
If you’re not failing, you’re simply not learning. (me to me whenever something doesn’t go to plan)
I threw a launch party with all my girlfriends, and even had a handbag Elevar. Cake to celebrate. (Sometimes I can’t tell the difference between our Croco Style handbag and our Elevar. cake). All my hard work had finally paid off and I was fortunate enough to celebrate it with all my loved ones, many who had helped out along the way with the business too.
I honestly turned around a negative turn of events with Covid, by turning it into a positive experience with starting my own business.
]]>I achieved a different dream.
I achieved my business dream.
And I couldn’t be more grateful.
If you are unsure on what to gift someone, or even a gift for yourself, stress no more, as I have put together the Ultimate Fashion Accessories Christmas Gift Guide for those that are serious about styling.
Super kawaii!!! (my first thought when I came across this once again super kawaii product). And what we love most about Nasty Gal's Faux Leather Embellished Star Belt is that it is made from Vegan Leather, L-O-V-E!! Especially as we focus on using cruelty-free materials across our range too. Simply by accessorising with a vintage, leather, studded belt helps to elevate just about any summer outfit.
One of my favourite ways that really jazzes any style is jewellery. And let me tell you, Bianko has the most beautiful jewellery on the market. They create sustainable (love!!) everyday jewelry for the modern woman. One I can’t keep my eye off is the Utopia Pearl Necklace - can you guess which bag strap of ours would go with this … (pssst.. Pretty in Pearlest). Pearls are seriously a timeless accessory that make getting dressed for the day a pleasure.
Colourful, fashionable and versatile, head scarves are back and they go perfectly paired with some sunglasses too. And we’re obsessing over Roxanna The Label’s Equinox Head Scarf. A serious timeless accessory - seriously spices up any outfit without a doubt!
Another trend that gives us that touch of distinction and that attracts all eyes, the perfect summer accessory - sunglasses. And by far EPOKHE is my favourite brand for this one. These Very combinable and elegant, thick-rimmed, star-fish feature EPOKHE Suede sunglasses are a must-have for this summer.
Hats are an easy way to add an extra style to any outfit, and to split your getting ready time in half. The best way to also cover up any bad hair day - am I right? We love Bernie Thomas’ cap collection, especially the ‘Loved Cap!’ - talk about rad style here. (Pairs perfectly with our Wild Riot Bag Strap for an extra bad-ass look.)
Another accessory-hack to spice up an outfit is a versatile bag strap and handbag range - ELEVAR. My mission creating the business was to take personalised fashion to the next level, that encourage sustainable choices - more straps, less bags. Allow your one same back to look completely different depending on which bag strap you choose to style it with - your accessories options are multiplied! We decided to show off one of our favourite and most popular bag straps - Midnight Dare.
I hope this Ultimate Fashion Accessories Christmas Gift Guide helps you with finding the perfect gift for someone or even yourself!
Wishing you all a very safe and Merry Christmas! - ELEVAR. xx

Using vegan leather over standard leather materials is an important step towards sustainability and preserving beautiful mother nature. It is important to prioritise the welfare of all living creatures in this beautiful world, and that starts with vegan leather.
2) Environmentally Friendly
Beware of them nassssty chemicals in some materials! With authentic leather, it requires extensive treatment before manufacture, and with these harmful (or shall we say “nassssty”) chemicals hard both the environment, as well as reducing the biodegradability of the leather also. However with the almighty vegan leather, it combines textiles and polyurethane to create a rather authentic leather that is much less damaging to the environment.
3) Durability
If you want your products lasting a long time, lemme tell y’all something – vegan leather is the way to go for longevity and durability! Vegan leather is extremely durable as it is water-resistant and stain-resistant! – Phew! No matter what, your Elevar products are going to be o-k. Vegan products – like our own, are known to suffer minimal wear and tear over time.
4) Vegan leather requires less water
Animal leather requires a lot of water and I mean aloooot. With the vast amounts of water required to keep the cattle and other animals alive in the first place plus the water used in the skin preparation tanning and finishing processes of animal leather production, the overall water footprint of animal leather is huge! For every metric ton of animal leather produced, 20 000 – 80 000 litres of polluted wastewater is generated (me stumbling across these numbers likeee: 😱)
5) Vegan leather creates less carbon dioxide emissions
Vegan leather produces a fraction of the amount of Co2 than animal leather does. So if you all want less co2 in this world… you know what to do💁♀️

And yet, no matter how many times I read the title above and still think, “surelyyyy not” – when really, this is reality.
In all honesty, to be featured in Vogue was quite frankly, something I never thought I was capable of achieving, more so because:
I’ve been asked by several people, “how did you get in Vogue?”, “what was the process?” So, allow me to run you through how this opportunity came about.
Let’s set the scene shall we? (anything to add anticipation to the story).
It was a Wednesday night (ok, I’m only assuming here), I was preparing dinner; risotto, that is, (ok #2, really setting the scene well here) and my phone lit up as I received a message via the contact page on Elevar Style's website that is shown below.
*Me first glancing at the message: Experienced approx. 3 x seconds of an intense heart drop + a rush of adrenaline. "Could this really be tru-"
*Me 3 x seconds later: "Nah, defo a scam."
So, I happened to convince myself after the short, 3 x second impulse of excitement, that, it was actually a scam. I didn’t want to get my hopes up for nothing, right? Especially when its to do with Vogue. That’s right. VOGUE.
I knew the only way to confirm this was to take it to email, I wanted to see if:
And long behold, they met the above two criteria ^
Now those 3 x seconds of initial excitement I had experienced when, for a split second, I thought it was truly Vogue, now turned into an endless feeling of excitement as this was really and truly happening. (And mind you, that excitement still has not left me to this day!).
This is when it truly sunk in that I was in contact with British Vogue. When I was sent the Vogue Style Set Deck and knew this was the real-deal. A phone call was also arranged between myself and the Senior Sales Executive at British Vouge, which made it the real-deal even more!
And just when I thought Elevar Style was going to be featured in ONE magazine, I was presented with the offer to be featured in THREE. Say whaaaaaaat? I was honestly over the moon and beaming with happiness at this opportunity, until I realised, I'm going to have to decide on three photos to send through! But exactly...what photos? And who do I choose?
I had some people suggest to me that I should be featured in the photo? My response was either a hell no or not a f***** chance 🤣. I ain’t no Kendall or Zendaya over here!! But all I knew was I wanted to give someone the opportunity to be featured in Vogue. However, it had to be someone who truly deserved it
Before I delve into the story about how I narrowed my choices down to choose this particular person, all I can say, is that when you're a kind and generous person, it will take you a long way, as these are the reasons why I chose Ellie, also known as 'El' (@el_archambault) to represent Elevar Style in British Vogue.
And once again, I had several people ask me “Why did you choose El” more so, out of curiosity, and allow me to tell you why!
El was one of the very first content creators I had worked with, and whilst majority of the content creators I had worked with in the past were nothing but amazing, El however, really stood out to me.
Not only is El incredibly talented at her job, (honestly have a solid stalk of her insta, it’s incredible!), she also portrayed herself as the kindest, most generous, bubbly and outgoing girl, whilst, still upholding a high level of professionalism throughout her work. Working with El felt like I was working with and communicating with a close friend, vibes were always high!
The really odd thing is, is that I still remember in the back of my mind El posting a photo with the caption “Vogue Dreaming” as you can see below. And little did El know she was manifesting this dream.
The same excitement I felt when I realised Vogue was the real-deal was equivalent to telling El about the opportunity!
And exactly how did the call go?
1) *Told El about the opportunity
2) * El cried
3) *I cried
(repeat step 2 and 3 at least 4 times)
*Lots of screaming of happiness*
I wish I recorded the conversation, El’s reaction was priceless, it really did go to show I chose the perfect model for this opportunity.
We were fortunate enough to squeeze the shoot in between lockdowns, as we had just only come out of a 2-week lockdown, with a one week (I guess you could say) ‘interval’ before heading into yet another lockdown that we are still currently in, as we're both based in Melbourne. We were incredibly grateful that we managed to squeeze the shoot in, with only 2 days left until the photos were due too!
The shoot for Vogue was definitely one of my favourite days. I was surrounded by my beautiful, supportive friends, and was so fortunate enough to have friends that specialise in videography, photography, makeup and hair that got to help me out on the day too! The day was filled with love, laughter, good banter, and most importantly, great pics!
Shoots are always fun! But when the time comes that you have to narrow your photo selection down from 400 to 1 - its nothing but stressful! Especially when I loved all 400 too.
*submits all 400 photos to Vogue* - lol, I wish at the time
After hours of browsing, pulling fingers through hair, staring into space, tearing the kitchen apart hoping to find chocolate to use as a stress reliever (which I couldn’t find fml), we FINALLY came down to the final two options (shown below).
Option #1
I decided to put a poll on both my personal and business account to get as many opinions as I possibly could. And wow. Were the votes close, and when I mean close, we’re talking 1%!
And the outcome was… *drumroll please*
As much as I loved both photos, I knew this was the winner! And British Vogue agreed too x.
And for someone who is impatient as hell (cheeky fire sign for you), with wanting to share the news straight away, but instead, had to wait 6 weeks until I could, goes to show I deserve some kind of discipline award for being able to hold a secret like this in for so long!
Fast forward to September 10th, Elevar Style was featured in British Vogue under the ‘Style Set’ editorial page. Just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, it somehow did. And that was, ZENDAYA was the cover for the October Editorial. An actual icon! And I’m sure we can all agree on that too.
“What an opportunity!” is all I can say.
An opportunity I will be forever grateful for.

Something so simple, yet so powerful.
When the time came to choose my name, I wanted a name with meaning. I had already decided that my motto would be “raise your standard” - as we strive to elevate and empower, raising the standard of the norm, as people take confidence in their individual style and dare to stand out from the crowd.
And here are some of the fonts I was deciding on! It was definitely a hard choice that's for sure.
The motto is what helped me brought Elevar Style to life. If you all know how Post Malone came up with his name (otherwise Google it 😉), some would say I did a 'Post Malone' move, however, I replaced the rap-generator with Google translate instead! (still much the muchness). I wanted to use "raise your standard" to be translated instead, however this appeared to be 'too long' under several languages, which led me to just deciding to choose "raise" instead. This allowed me to stumble across Elevar - in spanish. And booyah! Elevar was born! Well kind of anyways... (we're still getting there!)
And there she is!
So, happy ol’ me decided to then jump on to https://businessname.com.au/ to see if my now, business name, was available, and (drumroll please), IT. WAS. TAKEN. I wouldn’t be surprised if I shed a tear in this moment, I was so gutted (#dramatic #dramaqueen #iwassadok😂)
Emoji = me
Just when I thought I had my brand name in one go, I was wrong, I was stuck on this idea for at least another 3 weeks. I wanted to do Elevar Straps or Elevar Bags, but I knew this was only targeting a small niche... I knew I wanted to expand into other products in the future so these names were definitely out of the picture. I kept thinking, what is a word I can use that incorporates everything into one?
ELEVAR STYLE.
(I'll mention in a separate blog what our two B&W triangles mean too!)
Ah huhhhh, there she is, proud mumma over here. I chose Elevar Style, as your style can be anything and include anything, there is no one terminology that describes a style, because everyone is different and unique in their own ways. And that’s what Elevar Style is all about! As our vision is to be an advocate for individuality, inspiring people to take the lead and embrace their unique style, gaining confidence in themselves as they nurture their creative voice.
And here we have it Elevar Style. My brand. My baby. I have loved every single moment with starting the brand, whilst running a business (and working several other jobs) comes with its highs and lows, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

However, if you want to make the most out of this collaboration, you need to ensure you have secured an authentic influencer that aligns with your brand. And why may this be so critical? If the influencer is not fit for the role, your collaboration will most likely not exactly go to plan…
Firstly…
What is an influencer collaboration?
Influencer Collaboration: Refers to the alliance of a brand an influencer, to curate a specific product or service to grab the attention of a niche audience.
Prime examples of brand and influencer collaborations include:
What is brand collaboration?
Do any of these collaborations ring a bell? The ones you remember the most are likely to have been some of the more established brand collaborations, meaning their partnership was successful in getting both brands at the forefront of their customer’s minds.
Plan your Campaign
A collaboration can never run successfully without an end goal. What is it that you are after with the collaboration? Is it:
Clear and concise Influencer Marketing goals are they key to a successful influencer collaboration. Never undermine the importance of goal-setting for any collaboration you undertake, if anything, it should be the first thing you do.
Select your Influencer Carefully
You may have found a brand or influencer that is fresh, young and exciting and think they will be the perfect way to boost your brand’s rep. You may also be attracted to their fantastic numbers on social media and their status online, however, there is much more to a brand collaboration than that.
You need to think carefully about who it is you want to work with in order to get the best results. Ideally, you want to work with a brand or influencer who is fond of your own brand, and is exciting to work with you!
A few factors to take into account when choosing Influencers for Influencer Collaborations include:
When interacting with Influencers, even the first few email exchanges with them can tell you a lot about the potential collaboration. Do they respond quickly? Are they excited to collaborate with you? Do they come up with ideas also? Are they more interested in upfront payment? Even a small communication quirks can either make or break a collaboration.
Design a Clear Contract and Guidelines
The Influencer Collaboration contract is a written legal document that includes complete details of a marketing campaign. It is designed with the mutual consent of both the Influencer and Brand.
It defines everything including campaign dates, number of social media posts, timing of posts, campaign budget, and required Australian Consumer Law (ACL) regulations. These details vary with each contract based on the Influencer’s popularity, location, type of campaign etc.
The five essential components include:
1) Type of content
2) Scope of Campaign
3) Deadlines
4) Payment
5) Legal obligations
In order to draft up an Influencer Collaboration contract, the following sections will be required in chronological order:
To avoid any conflicts within a collaboration between a brand and influencer, we advise that you have a contract in place. It is a legally binding documentation that defines all the specifications of the campaign, leaving no room for miscommunication.
EXTRA TIP: When communicating with influencers, ensure that you have everything in writing from their end, as this will be exceedingly helpful then things don’t follow through. To be more professional, ensure that all communication is done via email, rather than direct messaging via another social media platform.
Conclusion
I hope you found these tips helpful for when choosing to go ahead with collaborating with an influencer for your brand. For Elevar Style, we are always looking for vibrant, fun, energetic influencers to collaborate with the brand. If you tick one, or even three of the above boxes, don’t feel shy to reach out to us for a potential collaboration at: contact@elevarstyle.com.au

If you like to dream big, it’s almost guaranteed that you’ll face criticism. This is something I have definitely noticed whenever I read or listen to a podcast about how successful people had to deal with criticism along their journey to success. This criticism had only made them stronger into wanting to achieve their goals and dreams like ever before.
But sometimes, the most damaging criticism often comes from within. Dreams can be destructed through own self-doubt. And self-doubt leads to little or no motivation to make those dreams and goals a reality. So, if you’re a self-doubter or unmotivated as your goals and dreams may be too ‘unrealistic’, then this one’s for you.
Ever wondered how to achieve big things in life? It all starts with big dreams.
Below discloses what it means to dream big and how to keep going in the face of criticism, fear and self-doubt.
Ever had a dream so big that it sets your heart on fire and makes you come alive? That’s the dream you should put all your focus and energy towards.
For myself, I had a dream without even realising it was coming into play. I wish I could tell you all what this dream is, and how it all panned out, but that will have to wait until September 10th! So, stay tuned until then.
Your wild ambitions will most likely, make you uncomfortable and/or freak you out. And what does this mean? You’re on the right track. A big dream is about wanting more, expecting more, and knowing you can do more than what anyone would call “realistic”.
We have come up with 4 both simple and effective steps to achieve big dreams.
You can’t be what you can’t see. Make your dream real by viewing it in your mind’s eye. You will want to get as vivid and specific as possible, and then translate that dream/goal to mind either in words or photos. Pinterest is a great way to create mood boards/vision boards, this will act as a daily visual reminder of your dreams and goals. According to research by Dr. Gail Matthews at Dominican University, you are 42% more likely to achieve your goals when you write them down/see them visually.
If you have the goal to become a successful entrepreneur, or even wanting to climb Mt. Everest, now, would you take advice from someone who hasn’t done it before? N-O-P-E. Don’t solicit feedback from people who just want to shoot down your dreams.
Allow yourself to feed your mind with inspiration and positive stories of people who’ve achieved unrealistic dreams. This can take form in a blog post, podcast, or even books from someone who’s been there, done it all before. Finding role models that align with your goals is one of the most effective and powerful ways to transcend your own limiting beliefs.
Taking action (beyond simply showing up) is the key to achieving your dreams and goals. Making a plan is meaningless if you don’t shift towards action. Remember it doesn’t have to be 100% perfect, all that matters is that you keep moving forward!
Clearly define those dreams, shut down the haters, surround yourself with inspiration, imagine a life you love, and keep moving forward. Step, by step — that’s how all great things are achieved.
These four simple strategies will allow you to combat not only the negativity from others, but your own inner voice too, that can keep you playing small. And remember, no one has ever changed the world without dreaming big.
Now it’s time to take action for yourself, and allow your dreams to come to life.
For this, grab a notepad and pen and answer the following:
Always know, that you can achieve anything and everything. No one else is stopping you from achieving these dreams and goals…but you.
Ready to take action?
It's a hell yes from me.

For example, look at the largest companies in the world and their company names:
Like. Once you really say it aloud and think it through, it sounds a bit strange to begin with! Yet, it is so normalised in our current society. Check out the meaning behind the above brand names by clicking the link on their name.
Another fascinating one is Post Malone, as “Post” is his last name, he used a “rap name generator” to get “Malone” – who would of thought through a rap generator is where the famous Post Malone put his name together.
So! This leads me now to sharing some tips on how to choose a business name:
Imagine having a name no one can pronounce, or even worse ... remember! You will want a name that is easy to pronounce, quick to type and a name that stands out from the crowd.
Because when someone stumbles across your page and decides to purchase from you at a later date, a problem that may arise is if you have a complicated name, they aren't going to remember who they are buying from! This is a PROBLEMO, that being, a big loss of salesssss!
For example, businesses that have silent letters can be a problem (or should I say, PROBLEMO), for example, Flikr – the photo sharing site, the ‘e’ was dropped out of the word. However, if people If people were trying to find Flikr.com and didn’t know about the brand they would most likely type in fliker.com. So avoid names where you will have to be continuously correcting the misspelled version of the name.
You never know what the future holds! Your brand may develop and grow overtime that may lead you to opening new doors and ventures. That’s why I recommend avoiding niche names, for example: Elevar Handbags. Because who’s to say we aren’t looking at expanding our range… ;)
And if I were to choose this as our original name, it would be a bit difficult introducing other products that did not include handbags, and how else would the customer know you sell anything other than handbags by just looking at the name? Another tip I can give is to not include location in your brand name – as you may never know where your brand ends up! Don’t let your business name be tied to a physical place unless there’s a specific reason for it.
Otherwise you could be sued! I remember working with a girl and she started her own swimwear label at just 17! (She’s honestly an inspiration of mine) and I remember she was in a legal dispute as someone overseas with the same name was trying to sue her…and mind you, she wasn’t wanting to compromise at all!
To save yourself from this happening to you, and if you are in Australia you will want to ensure that you do a check to see that no one has registered your proposed business name as their own trading name, as you can run into a lot of legal disputes down the track.
To check trading names in Australia, follow this link: https://businessname.com.au/
However, if you are outside of Australia, I recommend you check our local country for a similar registered business or trading name search.
This is critical! You want to ensure that your domain and socials match, and if not? Well say hello to step 1) Choosing a name. Otherwise users will become confused as to what your brand’s name actually is, and most likely confused as to which social handle belongs to your business.
Here is a simple checklist of all the social handles I suggest you check and make sure you can get your name across all the platforms:
Don’t just settle on the first name you have come up with, remember, this is going to be the name of your business that you may have for years to come, so ensure that you are 100% happy with your decision before purchasing any domains etc. Another tip is get some feedback on your chosen name by family and friends, because several opinions is better than just one!
If you still find youself stuck settling on a business name, maybe you can go Post Malone style and use a name generator (note that this is a business generator, not a rap generator ;) ).
They sites can be fun to have a play around with – but don’t get bogged down and waste too much time on this step. I want you to keep moving forward with the creation of your business!
